Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Sept-Iles, Quebec. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a laboratory facility; and for site work for a laboratory facility.
Construction of a new pavilion dedicated to test benches, entrepreneurship and the promotion of innovations. This will offer the entire Côte-Nord region a regional innovation hub offering distinctive expertise and research interventions in the fields of Industry 4.0, industrial maintenance, energy systems and the railway industry. The new pavilion will bring together research, training, development and technology transfer activities under the same roof. The net building area is estimated at 3,320 m2. Project will be developed in two phases. Phase 2 will include construction of an interior link between the main pavilion and the test bench (140 m2), as well as a space expansion of open offices at the 2nd level (433 m2) housing 40 additional researchers. TIMELINE: Phase 2 has been cancelled. Coverage of this report is discontinued.
