Renovation of a municipal facility in Kenner, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Remove existing air conditioning and heating equipment from building and install new American Standard (or equal) 5-ton equipment. Hang new air handler unit with unistrut threaded rod from steel purlins. Fabricate & install necessary sheet metal duct work, drain pan and heat strip. Replace duct smoke detector, wall thermostat & outdoor disconnect box. Flush system with RX-11, pressurize with nitrogen, evacuate & recharge with -410A. City of Kenner personnel will perform removal & replacement of ceiling to gain access to air handler unit. The Contractor's Bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the Contractor's Bid as an evidence of good faith. The Contractor shall purchase and furnish performance and payment bonds each in an amount at least equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract price, including but not limited to, the obligations for actual damages and liquidated damages, in accordance with the provisions in the Contract, regarding delay in completion of the Work within the Contract times, as security for faithful performance and payment of all Contractor's obligations under the Contract.
