The owner has selected a Construction Manager. The University of Michigan is evaluating the potential of utilizing construction management services on the following major projects: Bob & Betty Beyster Building Addition Potential Project and North Campus Geothermal Exchange Plant Firms interested in being evaluated for consideration are required to submit qualifications. Interested CM firms must respond to the requirements included in the project's Qualification Statement Requirements for Construction Management Services, available for download electronically. The University of Michigan reserves the right to reject any and all applicants and may stop the selection process for this project at any time. Bob & Betty Beyster Building Addition- The project is located at 2260 Hayward St, within the City of Ann Arbor, Washtenaw County, Michigan. North Campus Geothermal Exchange Plant- The project is located on North Campus, but specific location is to be determined. Beyster Addition In order to address existing space constraints for Computer Science and Engineering and the School of Information, this proposed project will construct an addition of approximately 163,000 gsf to the Bob & Betty Beyster Building to provide expansion space for Computer Science & Engineering as well as space to relocate the School of Information from Central Campus to North Campus. The new state-of-the-art facility will provide active learning classrooms, flexible dry research laboratories, and office/student services spaces enabling both units to successfully fulfill their respective instructional and research missions and support interdisciplinary research and collaboration. North Campus Geothermal Exchange Plant The project will include a new geothermal exchange plant and closed loop vertical bore well field, and distribution system capable of serving medium temperature heating hot water and chilled water to the new Beyster Building Addition and potentially other buildings.
