New construction of a stadium in Prophet River, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the construction of a 16,265-square-foot, one-story above grade stadium.
The scope of work shall include: The construction of a one storey pre-engineered steel building. The new 1,511.0 m2 (16,265 SF) ice rink facility is covered and partially enclosed with steel prefinished panels and open-air wood slat screens around the perimeter; the ice surface will be frozen by natural means. The building will include a conditioned Lean-To (two change rooms and storage room) in addition to the concrete slab and ice surface area. The pre-engineered structural steel package has been already supplied by the owner and is currently stored on-site. The General Contractor is responsible for steel building erection and complete installation. The subtrade to be used for steel erection and installation is Tru-Steel Inc. Tender Documents will be available after 2:00 pm P.S.T. on Tuesday, March 15, 2022 online through the ‘BidCentral’ website, through the corresponding British Columbia Construction Association, or may be obtained directly from the Consultant, David Nairne + Associates Ltd, previous request, at Suite 250 - 171 West Esplanade, North Vancouver, BC, V7M 3J9. A $300.00 CDN dollars non-refundable certified cheque is required for tender documents.
