Demolition, site work, remodeling, renovation and addition to a military facility in Joint Base Lewis McChord, Washington. Completed plans call for the remodel of a military facility.
Base Item CLIN 0001 Repair Work Repair of foundations, basement, ceilings, and below grade exterior walls. The magnitude of construction for this project is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. Funds for this project are currently available. Building 04174 was built in 1934, originally as the Quartermaster Warehouse, but evolved into Quartermaster Offices. It is currently used as an administrative office facility. The structural system consists of a reinforced concrete frame, structural concrete floor slabs, with brick infill and facing for the exterior walls. Decorative cut stone work surrounds the major entry portals; the gable end parapets have stone copings. The building is located west of Watkins Field on Kaufman Avenue between Lewis Drive and Clark Road. The building is considered a Historic Building. The contractor shall supply all supervision, labor, equipment, and materials to perform all work in strict accordance with the MATOC contract specifications, this Statement of Work, and identified drawings to provide structural repairs to Building 04174.
