Site work and renovation of a municipal facility in Markham, Ontario. Working plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
Upgrades include replacement of the existing HHW storage unit to accommodate 80 drums & new concrete pad. Relocation of the existing HHW storage unit. A new flammables storage unit for a minimum of 40 drums to be installed on a concrete pad. A new secondary shelter for staff in the form of a prefabricated kiosk. Relocation of existing office trailer and required services to the west side of the depot. Servicing & site work, mechanical systems & security. TIMELINE: Plans complete. A prequalification for general contractors closed January 27, 2023. Prequalified contactors have been listed. Project was placed on hold. Updates may be confirmed summer 2026, or upon issuance of tender.
