Anticipated Award Date 9/21/2021 Question End Date 8/11/2021 2:00 PM It is the intent of The School Board of Sarasota County, Florida to contract for a period of one (1) year for the district-wide maintenance and patching of all areas of driveways, parking lots, and miscellaneous areas owned and operated by the School Board on an as needed basis. The services shall include all materials, preparation, (including cleaning of all areas of work), mixing, tools, labor, supervision, equipment, fuel, travel, incidentals, and other related items necessary to complete the work in accordance with the specifications. The Contractor will coordinate a work schedule with the authorized representative of the Facilities Services Department to insure the availability of the work area so as not to delay the execution of the project, to maintain traffic flow, and to minimize activities that might be detrimental to the work in progress such as automatic sprinkler systems, or other customer or construction traffic. The Contractor will notify the authorized representative of the Facilities Services Department of pavement areas that, in his opinion, have so deteriorated or have other outside factors such as poor drainage or improper construction that will render the application of a pavement sealant ineffective.
