Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Wadsworth, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The work covered by the plans and specifications includes furnishing all labor, equipment and the noted material for to accomplish the removal and reconstruction of 4" and 6" sidewalk and curb ramps at various locations within the City's 2020 - 2021 Sidewalk Repair Program limits. This improvement must attain Substantial Completion by November 19, 2021. All bidders must be qualified by experience and properly equipped to complete the work specified in the time allotted. Each bid must be submitted on the form provided by the City in the bid book and must be fully completed and submitted intact. Each bid shall contain the entire bid book with all addendums. Each bid must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting it. A certified check, cashier's check or letter of credit pursuant to Chapter1305 of the Ohio Revised Code. The amount of the certified check, cashier's check or letter of credit shall equal 10% of the full amount of the bid and the Successful Bidder will be required to submit a bond in the form provided in section 153.57 of the Ohio Revised Code in conjunction with the execution of the contract. Said bond shall be issued by a surety company or corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on public improvements in Medina County, Ohio as determined by the Ohio Department of Commerce, Division of Labor and Worker Safety, Wage and Hour Bureau. The City of Wadsworth reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to waive irregularities therein. A 12 month Maintenance Bond will be required prior to issuance of Final Payment.
