Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Thomasboro, Illinois. Design plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
FAI 72 (I-72) Over I-57 West of Champaign, Phase I/II Bridge Superstructure Project, Champaign County, Region Three/District Five This project requires 22% DBE participation, or if the contract goal is not met, documented evidence of good faith efforts The Complexity Factor for this project is 0.07 The Consultant who is selected for this project and all Subconsultants the Prime Consultant will be using are scheduled to attend an initial meeting on October 27, 2021 at 9:30 AM at the Region Three/District Five Office in Paris Phase I and II engineering services are required for the preparation of a project report and final contract plans, specifications, and cost estimates for Bridge Superstructure at S.N. 010-0034 and S.N. 010-0035 which carries I-72 over I-57 in Champaign County The estimated construction cost for this project is $5,000,000. The project is tentatively set for a November 2023 Letting. The completion date for this contract will be 60 months after authorization to proceed. A planned Supplement for Phase II will be done near the completion of Phase I. The Prime firm must be prequalified in the following categories to be considered for this project: Highways (Freeways) Location Design Studies (Rehabilitation) Structures (Highway: Advanced Typical) SStatements of Interest, including resumes of the key people noted above, must be submitted electronically to the Central Bureau of Design and Environment through the Engineering Prequalification and Agreement System (EPAS).
