The completed plans call for site improvements and new PEMB building construction of a ~5,900 SF Fire Station #2 for the Sni Valley Fire Protection District located in Bates City, Missouri. The PEMB building will include two apparatus bays and living and office quarters for a 5-person crew to include a kitchen, living room with carpet tile, gym with rubber flooring & storage space, work room with carpet tile, laundry, separate shower and restroom facilities with tile, sleeping quarters, captain office with living space, above ground tornado shelter / decon space with mezzanine for mechanical and additional storage space, EMS storage room, tool room, gear/supply room, and sealed concrete floors mostly throughout. The site improvements include concrete parking and drive lanes, dumpster enclosure with fencing, concrete sidewalks and patio, pavement markings and parking blocks, site utilities, grading, and erosion control with seeding & mulching. Project requirements include: Prevailing Wages per Annual Wage Order No. 29 (Lafayette County), OSHA 10, Tax Exempt, & Performance and Payment Bond (unless bond requirement waived by Design-Builder).The Owner and Design Builder's decision regarding the approval of the bids will be based upon a variety of factors such as, but not limited to reputation of bidder, schedule, and time constraints, and offer of service(s) & price; all decisions will be in the best interest of the Sni Valley Fire Protection District. The Fire Protection District reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive all or any requirements set forth in the project plans, and to select the lowest qualified bidder as determined by the Owner and Design-Builder. No bids shall be withdrawn for a period of (45) days from receipt of Bids.
