The project generally consists of the removal and replacement of 111 linear feet of sewer main and all associated appurtenances including bypass pumping to maintain service. The scope of work includes coordination with LTMUA, maintenance and protection of traffic, testing and restoration. Contract Documents and Drawings for the proposed work, which have been prepared by Mathew R. Wilder, P.E. of the firm Morgan Engineering and are available to prospective bidders upon request via email. Sealed Bids must be made on the standard Bid Proposal Forms in the manner designated in the Contract Documents, must be enclosed in sealed envelopes bearing the name and address of the Bidder, and the name of the project on the outside and be addressed to Attention: Justin Flancbaum, Executive Director, LTMUA and must be accompanied by a statement of Consent of Surety from a surety company authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey and acceptable to the LTMUA and either a Bid Bond, Certified or Cashier's Check drawn to the order of "Lakewood Township Municipal Utilities Authority" for not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount bid, except that the check need not exceed $20,000.00. The successful bidder is hereby notified that a performance bond for the full amount of the project is required. The award of the Contract for this project will not be made until the necessary funds have been provided by the LTMUA in a lawful manner. LTMUA or the Engineer reserves the right to require a complete financial and experience statement from prospective bidders showing that they have satisfactorily completed work of the nature required before furnishing Bid Proposal Forms or specifications, or before awarding the Contract. Sealed Bids for this Contract will only be accepted from bidders who have properly qualified in accordance with the requirements of the Contract documents. LTMUA reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities where such informality is not detrimental to the best interest of the LTMUA. Further, the LTMUA reserves the right to abandon the project and reject the bids entirely if any legal or state or federal administrative action is taken against the LTMUA which could delay or jeopardize the project from commencing. LTMUA reserves the right to increase or decrease the quantities specified in the manner designated in the Specifications. The successful bidder shall be required to comply with the following: A.
