Williamson County is seeking qualified contractors for the relocation of 18 inch transmission main with valves, appurtenances, encasement pipe, jack and bore, including pressure taps onto existing 16 inch main. Estimated time of completion is 65 calendar days to substantial completion, and 95 calendar days to final completion, with an estimated cost of 4,600,000. Question & Answer deadline Aug 20, 2021 (Fri), 2:00 PM All bids shall be accompanied by a certified cashier's check upon a National or State bank in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total maximum bid price, payable without recourse to Williamson County, or a bid bond in the same amount from a reliable surety company, as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into a contract and execute performance and payment bonds, as stipulated by item 25 above, within ten (10) days after notice of award of contract to him. Bid guarantees must be submitted in the same sealed envelope with the bid. Bids submitted without check or bid bonds will not be considered. The Williamson County Commissioners' Court reserves the right to accept the lowest and/or best value Bid as deemed by the Court, or reject any and/or all Bids.
