Renovation of an elderly care / assisted living facility in Edmonton, Alberta. Completed plans call for the renovation of a three-story above grade, 65-unit elderly care / assisted living facility.
Virginia Park is a three story, 65 unit Supportive Living Seniors facility located at 11033-76 Street Edmonton. The facility was constructed in 1983 and is owned by the Alberta Social Housing Corporation (ASHC) and managed by GEF Seniors Housing. The building currently has a boiler system that provides heat for the lodge as well as the surrounding 3 apartment buildings (Virginia Park Plaza I, II & III). The boiler system has begun to fail and GEF has installed temporary heating boilers to supplement the existing capacity. This project will be to remove and replace the boiler heating system as outlined in the Drawings and specifications created by Williams Engineering and attached to this tender document.
