This project involves the removal of an existing pond and its structures and construction of a larger facility including concrete retaining walls and concrete weir control structures and approximately 300 feet of earthen embankment. The constructed facility will pass the base flow of an unnamed tributary to the Hudson Branch. Re-construction of a stream through the pond will include stream grading, and stream stability practices such as riffle grade control. The project includes storm drain modifications including replacement of multiple storm drains, endwalls and manholes, riprap outfall stabilization, and other design elements. The facility is located on the southwest corner of the intersection of Rogers Avenue and Patapsco River Road in Ellicott City, Maryland.
