COVID Precautions:
Masks will be required of all participants of this site visit, regardless of vaccination status. Please make sure to bring a mask with you for this visit. The Mandatory Site Visit for Request for Proposals #2452- Two-Dimensional Art Conservation will be on Monday September 13,2021 at 10:00 am in Albany, New York. The point for prospective bidders to meet will be Meeting Room 6 in the Empire State Plaza Concourse (please see the attached map). It is recommended that attendees arrive at the meeting point at least 15 minutes prior to scheduled time with photo identification. This is the only date and time available for inspection. Alternate dates for additional site inspections will not be available. Please note, that Bidders will be required to go through a security screening, including a metal detector, to access certain locations where works are on display. OGS cannot provide storage of Bidders personal effects during this site visit. Attendees will be required to sign in and provide basic company and contact information. This information will be used to verify attendance and to communicate any changes to the solicitation(addenda). Therefore, it is imperative that the provided information be legible and accurate. Failure to attend the mandatory site visit will result in rejection of the bid. The facilitator of the event will publicly announce the official start time of the site visit, which announcement shall be made no sooner than the time stated in Section 1.3 - Key Events of RFP 2452. Prospective bidders arriving after the official start time of the site visit will be precluded from attending the site visit and will therefore be unable to submit a responsive bid.
