South Douglas Channel PDM Project Buyer's Requirements Participation Requirements - Minority Business Participation - Small Business Participation - Women-Owned Business Participation - Service-Disabled Veteran Owned - Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) General Requirements - Insurance Required Bonding Requirements - Bid Bond 5 % Question Acceptance Deadline 08/20/2021 03:00 PM EDT Questions are submitted online No Reference Number 0000267204 The project is located within South Douglas Channel just upstream of the Chestnut St. culvert in-between Vondelpark Dr. and Ellston St. The project will be accessed through a City owned easement to the west of 780 Vondelpark Dr. The work to be done by the Contractor shall consist of removal of existing failed block wall, removal of existing riprap protection, sheet pile driving, installation of a new modular block wall on the north bend of the channel, substantial grading work inside and outside of the channel, installing riprap throughout the project extents, installation of a proposed 4' grouted boulder drop structure, and other misc. work. This work is within the highly erodible South Douglas Channel, as to why we are not allowing construction to take place prior to October 1st. The Contractor will be responsible for obtaining all necessary permits for the project which include City Concrete, City Excavation, City Grading and Erosion Control (Approved Plans and Narrative have been provided for Contractor's use), CDPHE WQ Construction Permit (for both disturbing an acre of land and also for dewatering activities), and a Parks and Trails Permit (if the Contractor plans on closing Sinton Trail to the north side of the project).
