Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to an educational facility in Leask, Saskatchewan. Completed plans call for the demolition of a educational facility; for the renovation of a 34,445-square-foot educational facility; for the addition of a 2,422-square-foot, one-story above grade educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.

This letter serves as a notification that Prairie Spirit School Division has completed the Stage One of a two-stage procurement process for the Leask School Revitalization project. The prequalification process was completed in December 2022 with the selection of five (5) general contractors, five (5) mechanical contractors and six (6) electrical contractors per attached Prequalified List. The tendering phase of the project has commenced with issuing of the project's tender documents to the prequalified contractors. Only general contractors, mechanical contractors and electrical contractors from this list are eligible to submit bids. Contract Documents have been shared with the pre-qualified bidders as well as the Saskatoon Construction Association and will not be posted on SaskTenders. Project consists of partial demolition (approx. 1,450 sq m) and renovation (approx. 3,200 sq m) of the remaining existing school as well as an addition of approx. 225 sq m. The building will be occupied during construction and the work will need to be phased to permit continuous operation. It is anticipated that the portion of the school planned for demolition can used as temporary swing space while renovations occur elsewhere in the facility.
