The scope of work is further detailed in the specifications and includes, but not limited to the lobby, mezzanine, multipurpose room, gymnasium, corridors, offices, toilet rooms, pool area and adding a fire suppression system throughout the building. PROJECT LOCATION: 100 Hebron Street, Mattapan, MA 02126 The scope of the Mattahunt Community Center renovation includes the Lobby, Mezzanine, Platform, Multipurpose Room, Teen Room, Gymnasium, North and West Corridors, Offices and Toilet Rooms, Storage, Locker Rooms, and Pool as indicated in the drawings. The project scope includes exterior envelope work and interior finishes, a platform in the Mutli-Purpose Room, civil, structural, electrical (power, lighting, and fire alarm), mechanical, and plumbing renovations and a new fire protection service and sprinklers. Removal and disposal of all specified asbestos-containing materials (ACM) and specified non-ACM materials as identified herein. This shall include all asbestoscontaining flooring and associated mastic, storefront door frame caulk, interior door frame caulk, black mastic associated with wall panels, sink coating, fire rated doors, and specified non-ACM where necessary to access asbestos, such as non-asbestos containing flooring. Removal of asbestos-containing flooring materials will include all floor tiles, any asbestos-contaminated flooring paper, and/ or leveling compound. Contractor is responsible for any demolition necessary to access asbestos containing materials (e.g., flooring etc.).
