P/N - 20406 Weld County Government is soliciting bids from contractors to construct a new training site/shooting range for the Weld County Sheriffs Office. The project consists of new ground-up construction but is not limited to the following: 1. Site clearing and excavation. 2. Provide tracking control to prevent tracking from the site onto public roadways. 3. Concrete formwork and flatwork. 4. Curbing & paving. 5. Construct parking lot, shooting ranges, berms, backstops & outbuildings. 6. Construction of building per the construction documents. 7. Exterior signage, as required. 8. Interior signage at all corridor doors to include braille and name of room. 9. Color used in exterior/interior must be approved by Director of Facilities. 10. Construct/install complete septic system in designated location. 11. Connect building to existing water well, installation of pump, and make fully operational. 12. Coordinate utility installations & startup and be responsible for connections and installation. Fees for utility startup will be paid for by the County directly to the utility provider. 13. All construction must be permitted and comply with County Building codes. Fees for construction permit through the County will be paid for by the County directly and should not be included in the proposal. 14. Contractor must develop a storm water management program (SWMP) that meets EPA and State of Colorado requirements. Contractor will be the operator for such permits and will be responsible for any violations/fines for non-compliance with the regulatory requirements. 15. Contractor must apply for right of way and grading permits through Weld County Public Works Department. 16. Remove and properly dispose of all trash generated by construction activities off site. 17. Geotechnical and soils testing for construction has been performed and will be provided. 18. All foundation/site work and soil compaction will be verified by County's third-party inspector prior to any vertical erection. *As of September 27, 2021, five addenda have been issued.
