The project consists of the renovation of the Ted Strickland Community Center, located at 130 MLK Senior Heritage Trail, Stockbridge, Georgia 30281. The renovation includes the removal of 2,300 SF of tile flooring, the addition of four private offices totaling 547 SF, one 537 SF conference room with glass folding doors, custom reception desk, coat closet, storage closet, kitchen seating space, work area millwork, and additional lighting and HVAC for the offices and conference room. No bid may be modified, withdrawn, or canceled for a period of sixty (60) days after the time designated for the receipt of Bids or until the Bidder is notified by the City whichever is sooner. . Each bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond in an amount of not less than ten percent (5%) of the total bid amount. The Bid Bond may be in the form of a bond issued by a surety acceptable to the City or a cashier's check made payable to the City of Stockbridge, Georgia. The entire Bid Bond shall be forfeited to the City of Stockbridge, Georgia as liquidated damages if the bidder fails to execute the Contract and provide Performance and Payment Bonds within fifteen (15) days after being notified that he has been awarded the Contract.
