44983 This solicitation includes two separate (2) projects which seek to enhance pedestrian safety and upgrade existing utilities on Harris Street. Each project will be awarded separately to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. Bidders have the option to bid on only one project or both projects. Harris Street Sidewalk UPC#102887 (VDOT revenue sharing funded) 1223 Harris Street Utility Plan (not VDOT revenue sharing funded). All questions must be received at least five days prior to the date fixed for receiving Bids. Submit questions on this form by fax or email. Weller, CPPB, VCO, Buyer III via e-mail: purchasing@charlottesville.gov Each bid in excess of $100,000 submitted in response to this IFB shall be accompanied by a bid bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total monetary amount of the bid Work to Commence: Four (4) weeks from award of contract Final Completion: Thirty (30) weeks from the work to commence date The City may cancel or reject an invitation for bids, a request for proposals, any other solicitation, or any or all bids or proposals received in response thereto.
