Renovation of a military facility in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 51,347-square-foot, two-story above grade military facility.

This project will consist of interior and exterior repairs to Building 751, Field House Goettge Memorial. Building 751 is a two story, 51,347 square foot, indoor physical fitness center. The building was originally constructed in 1950. The work includes a full building renovation of Goettge Field House, Building 751. Demolition will include the removal of all hazardous materials and complete demolition of all systems, infrastructure (roof), and utilities in vicinity of the building to accommodate new construction on the existing site. Facilities will be renovated to meet the functional requirements. Construction will include all necessary site preparation, utility connections, and modification of parking areas in vicinity of the facilities. Renovations include painting all interior and exterior painted surfaces, brick repair, renovation of men's and women's heads to be ABA compliant, replace floor finishes, replace windows and doors, replace bleachers with electrical retractable bleachers, provide energy-efficient HVAC and plumbing system, provide new electrical system, upgrade lightning to LED throughout, provide new fire suppression system, provide digital fire alarm system, provide telecom, provide security camera system, PA system and speakers, provide infrastructure for scoreboard, and provide roof replacement to include gutters. Site improvements include replacing all handrails, repairing concrete sidewalks, resurfacing the asphalt parking lot, address site drainage issues, accommodate accessibility requirements, and incidental related work.
