Renovation of a medical facility in Edmonton, Alberta. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
The intent of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit Proposals, in accordance with the procurement and contracting requirements described in this document, from firms interested in competing for the Construction Management Services contract for: University of Alberta Hospital - Alberta Surgical Initiative. The University of Alberta Hospital (UAH), Alberta Surgical Initiative (ASI) project is being brought forward by Alberta Health Services (AHS) in partnership with Alberta Health (AH). This project is part of the greater ASI goal that will address the growing concern with surgical wait times in the Province. The ASI goal to have all Albertans that get referred for surgery taken care of within 4 months of referral. This portion of the project will be within the Walter Mackenzie Centre (WMC)/ University of Alberta hospital and includes the renovation of two surgical suites 1A3.06 and 1A3.08 and the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) area to support 4 primary recovery beds.
