The College of New Jersey is soliciting proposals for a firm to install snow guards and replace gutters (AB220002). All questions must be submitted in writing via email (kapura@tcnj.edu) or fax (609-637-5140) to Anup Kapur, Finance & Business Services, The College of New Jersey, no later than January 25, 2022 by 4 p.m. The College will award the contract within sixty (60) days from the date of the proposal opening. The College, pursuant to State College Contract Law, reserves the right to reject all proposals. In the event that proposals are rejected, the College may elect to re-bid this contract. Scope of work for gutter replacement, Education building- The contractor must show proof that workers are ok to work on campus thru our Roar App each day. Using white K style 7" Aluminum gutters and appropriate primed (both sides) fascia boards. (approximately 300LF) The contractor is responsible for actual field verification prior to bidding. There are no tie-offpoints, the contractor is responsible for supplying a lift and all fall protection equipment. Proper removal, haul and disposal of all debris is the contractors responsibility on a daily basis. Apparent low bidder-Ochoa Enterprises 84,252.88 Approx 725LF total, 200LF of pole. Snow Guard Installation- The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment and supervision required to accomplish the following: The contractor must show proof that workers are ok to work on campus thru our ROAR App each day. Approx 200LF of snow guards, 600 LF of pole. Using Sieger Aluminum 3 pole retrofit brackets every 4' OC and 1/2 " stainless steel rods or equal.
