Asbestos abatement and renovation of a municipal facility in New York, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 18,000-square-foot, one-story above grade municipal facility; and for asbestos abatement for a municipal facility.
The project scope of work is as follows, but not limited to the following: -Partial demolition of walls/floor/ceiling/partitions, mechanical/electrical system, and bathrooms. -Installation of new walls/floors/ceilings/partitions, painting, doors refurbishing with new hardware, new lighting system, Fire Alarm system, and new electrical and HVAC system. -New ADA bathroom. -New HVAC to be tied into the building exiting BMS system. The new lighting system to be tied into the building lighting control system, and the new Fire Alarm system to be tied into the building main FA control panel. -Associated asbestos abatement. -Entire workspace is approximately 18,000 SF. Estimated Cost Range: $2,500,000 - $3,000,000 DASNY will not be responsible for receipt of bids which do not comply with these instructions. Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside: No Minority Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 18% Women Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 12% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Contracting Goal: 6% Contract term: December 31, 2022 *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
