Renovation of an educational facility in Houston, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a post-secondary education facility.

For this Project HCC has a small business participation goal of Thirty-Five Percent (35%). The Procurement Officer, Mr. Art Lopez, who is responsible for managing the solicitation process, in coordination with the Project Manage, Mr. Devin Roy, will manage this project and will lead the site visits. The Scope of Services in this solicitation outlines the requested services the College requires as part of the resulting contract. Each Bidder is requested to restate the Scope of Services and respond in writing, how the services will be met by the Bidder. The contractor shall perform in a satisfactory and proper manner all the necessary services required for the Drainage Completion Project and Canopy Installation Project at HCC's North Forest Campus and all related construction services. The Contractor shall be required to furnish all material, labor, tools, supplies, permits, equipment, insurance, bonds, transportation, superintendence, barricades, temporary protection, bracing, shoring, temporary construction of every nature, insurance, taxes, contributions and all services and facilities, for the, Drainage Completion Project and Canopy Installation Project, unless specifically excepted, and install all materials, items, and equipment required to provide to complete the projects at HCC's North Forest Campus. 4.1.1 The Contractor shall not use any product, supplies or equipment that is injurious or damaging to the surface to which it is applied/exposed. The Contractor shall be responsible for restoring/replacing all damaged equipment, furniture, floor coverings, etc. to the satisfaction of the College. The Contractor shall not use any painting supplies and/or products that may emit harmful fumes and are explosive in nature. 4.1.2 Contractor shall provide HCC with all appropriate Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) information for the painting agents or supplies used as required by the College. 4.1.3 Contractor shall be responsible for disposal of all trash off HCC property The project consists of the buildout of a round canopy connecting Building-A and Building-C, lighting under the canopy, and installation of downspouts and splash blocks for proper drainage. In addition, the project consists of saw cutting of areas between Building-A and Building-B. 4.1.5 Contractor to tie- in Building-A downspouts underground to the existing drainage system. The Contractor shall coordinate scopes with HCC per specifications. Building-A Sidewalk Repair The project may also include an additional scope to consist of removing the existing sidewalk and replacing with new sidewalk with new sidewalk located on the south end of Building-A.
