The project shall be constructed in one (1) phase The Atlantic County Justice Facility Kitchen Area Pavement reconstruction includes removal of existing full depth pavement within the project limits, while maintaining the existing security fences and gates that separate the area. Existing stone areas will be removed to accommodate the expansion of the paved area. The existing concrete dumpster area will be removed and replaced with an expanded reinforced concrete pad with section wall to create a storage area for grease collection containers that are on site. Several concrete entrance pads adjacent to the existing building will also be replaced with new pads. New metal bollards will be added to protect existing infrastructure and to divide the area The existing stormwater management system will be reconfigured to alleviate ponding conditions within the area. Existing pipe will be removed, and new ADS pipe will be installed. One existing inlet will be replaced, and three new inlets will be added as part of the reconfiguration. The existing concrete staircase providing access to the adjacent recreation area will be removed and replaced with a new reinforced concrete staircase and block retaining wall to accommodate the site improvements. New parking striping will be added for a new ADA accessible parking space and 13 new parking spaces. The work performed under this contract will include all materials, labor, equipment and services necessary to complete the project. Removal of all debris, clean-up and restoration of the work site will be required.
