The Scope of Work is to include, but is not necessarily limited to:
o Enclose Three (3) Bays approximately 60'x50'x16' with 26ga White Sheathing and 26ga Blue Sheathing Trim
o Install Six (6) 12'x14' Roll Up Doors (motor operated)
o Install Two (2) Steel Entry/Exit Doors
o Install 6" Vinyl Backed Fiberglass Roof Insulation
o Install 4" Vinyl Backed Fiberglass Wall insulation
Plans from Rockford Manufacturing are included. Along with the provided plans, the following will need to be submitted for permitting:
o Cover Sheet
o Life Safety Plan
o Building Code Summary Appendix B Bids must be clearly marked: "Instrumentation and Electrical Bay Enclosures." Brunswick County will not be responsible for the failure of any mail or delivery service to deliver a bid prior to the stated date and time. All materials, erection fees, permit fees, concrete curbing, etc. to be included in the bid. Bidder to contact Brunswick County Central Permitting to confirm what permits and plans will be required. All electrical work, including acquiring the electrical permit, will be performed by County staff. This project shall be completed within one-hundred twenty (120) calendar days from Notice to Proceed. All questions or comments shall be submitted in writing to Paul Biagiotti at paul.biagiotti@brunswickcountync.gov by 4:00 p.m. ET on April 7, 2022. A copy of all questions, answers, and further clarifications will be made in the form of an addendum and will be provided to all known interested bidders and posted on the County's website. Bidders are responsible for ensuring they have all addenda. Brunswick County will not be responsible for any costs or expenses incurred by a bidder in submitting a bid or for any other activities associated with this procurement. Further, Brunswick County reserves the right to cancel the work described herein prior to issuance and acceptance of any contractual agreement even if the Board of Commissioners has formally accepted the recommendation. Bidders are required to have insurance as outlined in the Minimum Insurance Requirements attached hereto as Exhibit 1 and incorporated herein by reference. Bidder will be required to provide a Certificate of Insurance as evidence that it meets the minimum requirements. Bidders are required to have proper license(s) under the laws of the State of North Carolina governing their respective trades. Proof of licensure will be required. Brunswick County reserves the right to request financial information for any bidder, in order to support the viability of the bidder. Brunswick County reserves the exclusive right to reject any or all bids without prejudice or explanation and/or to waive any informalities or technical defects in bids. Brunswick County reserves the right to amend the Scope of Work and request new bids at any time prior to the award of a contract. All decisions of Brunswick County shall be final and binding.
