This project is the construction of 2.0 miles of grading, drainage and surfacing of an existing county road. Surfacing will consist of 11' lanes and 3' shoulders. Project will be a Fixed Completion Date Contract consisting of: [See schedule of items] (See Part 2, Specifications, subsections 108.02, "Notice to Proceed and Preconstruction Conference" and 108.07.C, "Fixed Completion Date Contract"). Any bid received after this deadline will not be considered. The Bidder may modify or withdraw the Bid at any time prior to the bid submission deadline, provided such communication is received in writing by the designated contact person for this Bid Notice prior to the bid submission deadline. Cherokee Nation Department of Transportation, Community Services Group P.O. Box 948 Tahlequah, OK 74465. The Cherokee Nation is receiving bids from qualified firms for the NE Fort Gibson Road (Phase II) Project. The projects include grading, drainage and surfacing of an existing gravel county road with 22' wide asphalt roadway and 3' paved shoulders for a total of 28' roadway width. The project is on County Line Road. Beginning at the intersection of 4 Mile Road and County Line Road on the south section line of Section 34, T16N, R20E, Cherokee/Muskogee County line, State of Oklahoma; thence easterly on County Line Road approximately 2.0 miles to a point of termination at the SE Corner of Section 35, T16N, R20E, on Cherokee/Muskogee County line, all in the State of Oklahoma. The work shall consist of furnishing all materials, labor, equipment, and services incidental to perform the work shown in the plans which include grading, installing erosion control, installing paved ditches, new structures, constructing an asphalt pavement, installing curb and gutter, placing sod, installing mailboxes, signing, applying traffic stripes all in strict accordance with the Plans and Specifications for NE Fort Gibson Road (Phase II Project").
