The City of Dublin is accepting bids for the construction of a 16' x 30' pavilion at the Gary Johnson Park behind Dublin City Hall, 100 S., Church St., Dublin, GA 31021. SCOPE OF WORK: Work to include site grading, pouring of a 16 ft. x 30 ft. concrete pad and footings, and construction of a wood pavilion with a metal roof. Contractor is responsible for all materials, equipment and labor involved to complete the project. Contractor is responsible for erosion control at the construction site. The selected bidder, under the direction of the City, will construct a pavilion with the following specifications: PAVILION: o Dimensions - 30'x 16'x 8' o Entire wood structure shall be sealed with water-proofing sealer o Entire structure shall be initially treated for termites o Structure to be built using 6" x 6" treated posts o All joints shall be mechanically bolted or pinned with wooden pegs o Metal roof shall be standing seam construction, color chosen by owner o Drawing (B-1) is a concept only - contractor shall submit a detailed plan for construction o Slab plan is shown on drawing C-1 SLAB: o Contractor shall use 3,500 PSI concrete with fiber o 4" concrete slab with 1 foot turndown around whole perimeter o Compact subgrade to 98% before placing concrete o Install vapor barrier under entire slab o Light broom finish entire slab surface o Tap form edges to remove honeycomb before curing o Topsoil/excavated soil can be moved to an onsite area in close proximity to the construction site
