Renovation of a fire / police facility in Goodyear, Arizona. Working plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.

“The owner has determined a prequalified list of construction managers. A Request for Proposals for CMaR is expected to be released in a future date.” All questions must be submitted no later than the date/time indicated on the Citys procurement portal (Bonfire). All questions must be submitted no later than the close of business on November 24, 2023. Construction NTP October 2024 Project completion June 2025 The CMAR will be chosen through a qualifications-based selection process. The successful CMAR will enter into separate agreements with the City for each project phase Negotiated not-to-exceed Design Phase Services agreement and Construction Phase Services agreement with a Guaranteed Maximum Price The successful CMAR will participate in the design phase and will hold the construction contract for the improvements. Upon entering into the Construction Phase Service agreement with the City, the CMAR shall assume the risk of project delivery at the GMP and is responsible for construction means and methods The City reserves the right to reject any or all SOQs, to waive any informality or irregularity in any SOQ received, and to be the sole judge of the merits of the respective SOQ received. Contractor warrants and certifies that Contractor and its Subcontractors will maintain valid licenses, registrations, permits, and other approvals necessary to perform the Services required under this Contract Approvals). Contractor shall immediately advise the City in writing of any change in information provided by Contractor or its subcontractors as it relates to any Approvals. Noncompliance with this provision is a material breach of Contract. The Contractor is required to submit with Bid a certified or cashiers check, upon a solvent bank, or a surety bond in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the base bid price made payable to the City of Goodyear. The bid security shall be given as a guarantee that the Contractor will enter into the Contract if awarded to him; and shall be declared forfeited as liquidated damages if he refuses to enter into the contract upon request to do so by the City A performance bond for one hundred (100%) of the Contract price is required at the time of execution of the Contract and shall meet the requirements A payment bond for one hundred (100%) of the Contract price is required at the time of execution of this Contract and shall meet the requirements
