It is the Owner's intent to make a recommendation regarding award of these Contracts by September 14, 2021. A Notice of Intent to Award will be prepared and conveyed to the Contractor immediately. The Contractor shall commence the performance of this Contract and shall diligently continue its performance to and until final completion of the Project. Project shall start on September 27, 2021 and contractor shall have 16 calendar days to complete the project, making the final completion date October 12, 2021. Schedule of construction must be coordinated with school personnel. Contractor shall remove and dispose of the one existing 4 ton condenser, air handler, and two ptact type units. The contractor shall supply and install one 4 ton heat pump condenser with matching air handler. The air handler shall have 10 KW heat strips. The system shall have a new thermostat supplied by the contractor. The contractor shall supply and install a new circuit for the heat strips. The contractor shall supply and install two Amana ptact units. The ptact units shall be install per manufacture install guide and shall have a concrete pad formed underneath them at least 1.5 inches thick. The contractor is responsible for enlarging the opening in the wall for the units. New conduit and power wire from the new disconnect to the new units. The new units shall match existing equipment's Btu, voltage and phase. All duct work shall be sealed with mastic. All work will be done by code.
