Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Markham, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and for the construction of a 1,112-square-foot, one-story above grade playground / park / athletic field.
Celebration Park (approximate area is 25.5 acres (10.3ha)) is located 135 Karachi Drive, east of Markham Road and south of Kirkham Drive. The anticipated Work for this project may include, but is not limited to the following: - Site preparation and grading; - Storm, sanitary, water, and hydro services for the park from municipal roads or existing services; - Washroom Building/Pavilion; - Shade structure (pre-fabricated); - Cricket field and batting cages with corresponding safety fencing/netting; - Cricket field lighting and electrical connections; - Automatic irrigation for the cricket field; - Concrete and asphalt paving; - Two asphalt parking lots; - C.I.P. concrete and/or precast and/or stone retaining walls and/or pillars; - Planting, sodding and associated landscape works; - Water play; - Junior and senior playgrounds; - Rubberized safety surfacing; - Adult fitness equipment; and, - Site furnishings. *Project was awarded the week of April 3, 2023.
