Site work and renovation of a civil project in Hamden, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

The project includes : replacement of fluorosilicic acid (fluoride) chemical feed system including bulk tank, day tank, transfer pump, metering pumps, and piping; replacement of phosphate chemical feed system, including mix tank, day tank, transfer pump, and piping; replacement of sodium hypochlorite chemical feed system including bulk tank, day tank, transfer pump, metering pumps, and piping; and building improvements including replacement of the fluoride room door, tempered water and eye washes for chemical feed systems, heating and ventilation improvements, chemical resistant coatings for chemical feed systems, and miscellaneous electrical improvements. Each Bid must be submitted on the prescribed Bid Form and accompanied by Bid security as prescribed in the Instructions to Bidders, payable to the South Central Connecticut Regional Water Authority in an amount not less than 5 percent of the Bid amount. The Successful Bidder will be required to furnish the additional Bond(s) prescribed in the Bidding Documents. The attention of bidders is called to the requirements of non-discrimination in employment practices, conditions of employment, and minimum wage rates to be paid. The South Central Connecticut Regional Water Authority will not knowingly conduct business with providers of goods or services that are known to discriminate.
