All Amendment must me acknowledged on page 2 of the Standard Form 1442. Repair Fuel Cell, Bldg 1203 F-35A Repair Fuel Cell, Building 1203, Project Number FAKZ182351. The 187th Fighter Wing intends to aw ard a firm fixed-price contract for services to repair fuel cell, bldg 1203, as per Specifications and Draw ings Dated 1 April 2021. Project Number FAKZ182351 w ill include modification of the existing Fuel Cell, building 1203, architectural, structural, mechanical, plumbing and electrical systems as required to support the F-35A airframe. The magnitude is betw een $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this project is 236220. The Small Business Size Standard is $39,500,000. This aw ard is 100% set aside for Small Business. Funds are not presently available for this contract. Currently the Government anticipates funds w ill become available prior to, but no later than, midnight 30 September 2022. This action has been identified on the National Guard priority list for aw ard if funds become available and are w ithin an aw ardable range. Aw ard w ill be made to the responsible bidder w hose bid conforms to the invitation for bids and is most advantageous to the Government considering only price and price related factors. F-35A Repair Fuel Cell, Building 1203, Project Number FAKZ182351. The 187th Fighter Wing intends to aw ard a firm fixed-price Description of the Project: This project involves modification of the existing Hanger, building 1203, architectural, structural, mechanical, plumbing and electrical systems as required to support the F-35A airframe. The work will include the installation of a new split system air conditioning unit. It will also include the extension of the existing equipment mezzanine, a new air compressors, a new breathing air system. The project plans for the installation of a new 270 VDC electrical converters, 480V AC receptacles and other power devices to support F-35A maintenance activities. The project also includes the replacement of the existing facility transformer and main switchgear to support increase power requirements. There will be minor site demolition and repair to accommodate the electrical upgrades. The Intrusion Detection System (IDS), Access Controls, CCTV and telecommunication cabling and receptacles will also be upgraded. for services to repair fuel cell, bldg 1203, as per Specifications and Draw ings Dated 1 April 2021. NOTICE OF PRE-BID CONFERENCE AND SITE VISIT: 4.1 A pre-bid conference will be conducted 26 April 2022, 10:00 am Central Time for the purposes of briefing on the bid requirements and answering questions regarding this solicitation. This conference will be held at 5187 Selma Highway, Montgomery, Al 36108-4824, in the building 1502 Wing Auditorium classroom. THIS IS THE ONLY TIME A SITE VISIT WILL BE held Interested Contractors are highly encouraged to attend .The site visit will be held following the conference. All attendees, will be required to wear a mask, and comply with all social distancing guidelines. 4.2 Due to security conditions, all offerors must register to attend this conference and site visit. Extension of the existing equipment platform/mezzanine in Stripping Room as required to accomodate the new interior air handler for the Corrosion Control Maintenance Bay. 3. Installation of new air compressors, extension of compressed air lines, and relocation of air drops in maintenance bays to meet F-35 aircraft/shop air requirements. 4. Installation of new breathing air system to support fuel tank maintenance activities. 5. Installation of new 270 VDC electrical converters, 480V AC receptacles, and other power devices required to support F-35 maintenance activities. 6. Replacement of existing facility transformer and main switchgear to support increases power requirements associated with the F-35 electrical requirements. 7. Minor site demolition and repair to accomodate electrical upgrades. Intrusion Detection System (IDS), Access Controls, and CCTV: 1. The IDS system must be fully compatible with the existing USAF approved Advantor IDS Annunciator located in the 187th SFS BDOC. 2. As part of the base bid, the contractor is responsible for engaging Advantor Systems Cooperation (which is a sole source security system) for the procurement (purchase) and installation of the IDS, Access Controls, and CCTV systems. Refer to limited source justification included in the solicitation documents furnished by the Government. 3.
