A timeline for award has not yet been established.** The Project consists of, but is not necessarily limited to, replacing +/- 10,250 linear feet of water main ranging in size from 2" to 10" nominal diameters and associated valving, hydrant assemblies, water services, and appurtenances along Lake Street (State Route 10), River Street, West Main Street, Grant Place. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis for Contract No. VS-2021-G, and will include alternate bid item(s) as indicated in the Bid Form. This project will be using NYS EFC and USDA RD funding. Compliance with the NYS EFC Program Requirements and Bid Packet for Construction Contracts (For projects funded with NYS financial assistance only) Effective October 1, 2020 which include 30% MWBE and 6% SDVOB goals. All bids must be made on the official Bid Form or an exact copy by reproduction thereof and enclosed in a sealed envelope. No bidder may withdraw their bid within sixty calendar days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of five percent of the maximum bid price, as determined by adding the base bid and all alternatives, in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The successful bidder will be required to furnish construction performance and payment bonds in the full amount of the contract price. The successful bidder will be required to comply with all provisions of the Federal Government Equal Employment Opportunity clauses issued by the Secretary of Labor on May 21, 1968 and published in the Federal Register (41CFR Part 60-1, 33 F.2 7804).
