The Work generally consists of renovations for security improvements to the offices of the Boone County Collector, Boone County Assessor and Boone County Recorder's offices on the first floor of the Boone County Government Center. All questions pertaining to the project must be received by 1:00 p.m. on September 3, 2021. Boone County Government Center - 801 E. Walnut Columbia, MO 1. The Boone County Collector's Office: Work generally consists of the removal of existing finishes, wood trim, and drywall below the existing counters on the Lobby side of the offices and the installation of new ballistic board paneling and other finishes in that area. 2. The Boone County Assessor's Office: Work generally consists of the removal of most of the existing North wall between the Assessor's office and the Lobby to the East side of the existing West pair of doors into the space. New gypsum board partitions with ballistic board paneling, new countertops with wood trim and other finishes on both sides of the partition will replace the original installation. New ballistic glazing system walls will be installed. Carpet tile in the existing space will be salvaged for reinstallation on the office side. New Power and Data cabling with new light fixtures on the lobby side of the ceiling are included. 3. The Boone County Recorder's Office: Work generally consists of the removal of existing casework, minor wall sections with finishes and carpet tiles. New gypsum board partitions with ballistic board paneling, new casework and countertops with wood trim and other finishes will replace the original installation. New Data cabling will be installed to each service window location within the casework. Existing electrical power will be redistributed in the casework.
