Bidder Qualifications: The bidder shall possess a valid C-11 contractor license issued by the California Department of Consumer Affairs, Contractors State License Board (CSLB). All subcontractors that the bidder intends to utilize to perform work under the contract shall possess all applicable contractor licenses for the work they shall perform under the contract. The bidders contractor license number shall be indicated on the Bid/Bidder Certification Sheet (Attachment 1). The names of all subcontractors that the bidder intends to utilize and their contractor license number (if applicable) shall be indicated on the Bidder Declaration & Subcontractor/Supplier List (Attachment 4). All bidder and subcontractor contractor licenses shall be in good standing from the time of the bid opening through the term of the contract. Term: 180 calendar days within the term of 11/01/2021 or upon contract approval, whichever occurs later, through 6/30/22. Written questions regarding IFB are due by 10:00 a.m. on 9/14/21. Written responses to questions released by 5:00 p.m. on 9/21/21. DVBE Requirement: If your total bid is $10,000.00 or more, you must comply with the DVBE goals as mandated by state law and described in this IFB. Contractor’s Full Business Name (to be completed by the DMV), hereinafter referred to as the Contractor, agrees to provide the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) all labor, tools, materials, equipment, and travel necessary to perform removal and full replacement of 4 pairs (2 each) of handrails to four escalators (1up2, 2up3, 3down2, and 2down1) at the DMV HQ Building East for the term of this Agreement..
