**As of March 24, 2022, project is on hold. No definite date for the rebid.** As of 12/03/2021 This project received only 1 bidder which is Secure Access Services in the amount of $70,543. The Project consists generally of the following major items: Install power operated entrance gates at the three primary park entrance driveways at the City of Raleigh - Lions Park (516 Dennis Avenue, Raleigh), one on Bennett Street and two on Dennis Avenue, in conformance with the requirements specified in the bidding documents. Note that separate bids will be solicited for the electrical installations required as a portion of this overall project. The City's preferred Security Contractor will also work in conjunction with the successful Electrical Contractor to complete this installation. The Gate Installation Contractor shall work in conjunction with the successful Electrical Contractor and Security Contractor to successfully complete the installations for this project.

City of Raleigh 00100-2 Advertisement for Bids C. contractor's license with limitation and classification; indicate if the firm will be a Prime bidder, Supplier or Sub-Contractor. Bidders will be required to show evidence that they are licensed to perform the work in the Bidding Documents as required by North Carolina General Statute, Chapter 87 and the Instruction to Bidders. The successful bidder(s) must be registered to do work with the City of Raleigh. This is a simple process involving accessing the City of Raleigh website and completing an on-line form. Any vendor or entity interested in performing work for the City of Raleigh is encouraged to complete this process. Below is a link to the City's self-service vendor portal. Here you will be able to register your business with the City of Raleigh as an approved vendor. Bid Security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid must accompany each Bid and shall be subject to the conditions provided in the Instruction to Bidders. Please note that Payment and Performance Bonds will not be required for this project. Any reference to these Bonds in the bidding documentation may be ignored. Pursuant to General Statutes of North Carolina Sections 143-128.2 and 143-131, and in accordance with City policy, the City of Raleigh encourages and provides equal opportunity for certified Minority and Woman-Owned Business Enterprise (MWBE) businesses to participate in all aspects of the City's contracting and procurement programs to include Professional Services; Goods and Other Services; and Construction. The prime contractor will be required to identify participation of MWBE businesses in their Bid, and how that participation will be achieved. MWBE subcontractors and suppliers are encouraged.
