As of October 28, 2021. The project is expected to be awarded by mid of November no specific date yet. The City of Newnan (the "City") is seeking lump-sum bid proposals from General Contractors to demolish and remediate the Caldwell Tank Facility Demolition and Remediation Project. The Caldwell Tanks Facility was listed in the Brownfield Program this year (2021) with an acceptable Corrective Action Plan. It is the intent at the end of the contract between the City of Newnan and the selected demolition firm; the site is prepared for the welfare and health of the general public, and approved by EPD for redevelopment.
