Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Kansas City, Missouri. Completed plans call for the construction of a educational facility.

Foundation & Precast Package - The project site is located on N Platte Purchase Drive & NW 95th Street. All bidders are encouraged to utilize the Building Connected website for submission of online bids. If online submission is not an option, hard copies of the bid may be delivered to McCownGordons office at 850 Main Street, KCMO 64105. Online submission instructions can be found in the files section of the project on Building Connected. Documents to be uploaded include: Bid Form Bid Security Bid Package or Scope of Work Note: There's an updated bid form. For the hollow core package please provide a cost breakout for each size you wish to bid. Also, Hollow Core is supply only. Addendum #1 has been issued. Bids shall be directed to Nate Frazier McCownGordon Construction 850 Main, Kansas City, MO 64105 816.715.1199 All bids shall be held for a period of 60 days. Bids shall be submitted on the provided bid form. Bid Bonds will be required for all bids over $15,000.00. Additional Project Information All questions shall be submitted no later than 12:00 pm, Wednesday, September 22nd, 2021. to Nate Frazier, nfrazier@mccowngordon.com. Project is NON-TAXABLE This project does require Certified Payroll (Wage Order #27) Vendor Prequalification Prior to being awarded a contract, all bidders are required to qualify with McCownGordon. McCownGordon utilizes a secure online system to administer the qualification review process. Bidders who are not prequalified should contact Sam Dwyer (sdwyer@mccowngordon.com) or any member of the project team for access to McCownGordons qualification application. By submitting a bid, your company agrees that it will submit a recent financial statement, references and safety history prior to award of a contract. Subcontractor will execute a copy of MGCs current MSA. Trade Specific Instructions Subcontractor shall furnish all labor, qualified supervisory personnel, materials, supplies, equipment, tools, facilities and everything else necessary to perform, and shall perform, all the work for the construction and completion of the part(s) of the work of the Prime Contract as contained in the Work Order - Scope of Work, in accordance with the schedule and sequence given to it from time to time, and in compliance with the plans, specifications and other Contract Documents contained in the Work Order and the Project Schedule, each of which shall be attached to the project specific Work Order, and which upon signing the Work Order shall become a part of this Subcontract. Before and while proceeding with the work under a Work Order, Subcontractor shall accurately check everything previously, or currently being done by other trades, in any way relating to Subcontractor's work and shall determine the correctness of same. Subcontractor has a continuing obligation to review work that precedes it and if it later is found that there is an error that should have been reasonably noted and reported by the Subcontractor to Contractor, then the Subcontractor waives any claim to additional costs, expenses or damage resulting from. All local codes affecting Subcontractor's performance of its work have been investigated by Subcontractor and compliance with such requirementsis included as part of this Agreement. No materials shall be delivered to the Project site or storage areas that are not for use on this Project, and no equipment shall be delivered to or allowed to remain on the site except when it is needed for the execution of Subcontractor's Work. For all temporary equipment, construction equipment and scaffolding brought to the site, Subcontractor shall provide Contractor with written documentation, including make, model and (where available) serial numbers, and Subcontractor shall identify whether each piece of such equipment is owned or rented. Lien waivers for all rented equipment will be required prior to payment to Subcontractor of progress or final payments. Contact the construction manager for the bid opening zoom link information.
