Site work for a road / highway in Salinas, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
In general, the work shall include, but is not limited to mobilization; surveying and construction staking; removal and salvage or disposal of existing hardscape and light poles; roadway and pavement reconstruction, crack seal, slurry seal, construction of curb and gutter, sidewalk, ADA compliant pedestrian access ramps, lighting improvements, electrical improvements, signing and marking; traffic signal improvements; and all incidental and appurtenant improvements and restorations specified on the Plans and herein these Special Provisions Hardcopies shall be received within 5 working days after Bid opening date: Completed Proposal signed and dated; Signed Addendum, if any; Bid Bond; Bidder's Statement of Financial Responsibility Technical Ability and Experience; Insurance Certification; Non-Collusion Declaration of Contractor; and Bidder's Statement of Subcontractors- Part I. Failure to comply with these requirements may result in the forfeiture of the Bidder's rank in the Bid process. Chapter 12 Article Ill A-Local Purchasing Preference; Per the City's Local Purchasing Preference Ordinance. All Local Contractors shall have a Current Declaration of Local Business Enterprise form filed with the City of Salinas Finance Department to receive a five percent (5%) local preference.
