The Centerpoint School District located in Pike County requests statements of qualifications from interested Construction Manager-GC, in which the construction manager assumes the risk for the constructions by providing a guaranteed maximum price and provides design phase consultation in evaluating costs, schedule, and implications of alternative designs and systems before, during and after the design and construction of the facilities. The Construction Manager GC holds all contracts and provides the entire bond.
The districts projected projects are as follows:
1. Elementary School Classroom Additions (4 classrooms and hallways, apx 5,000 sf)
2. High School Classroom Additions (2 classrooms and hallways, apx 2,000 sf)
Interested Firms are to submit three (3) copies and an electronic copy (by email or usb drive) with the following information regarding the specialized experience and technical competence of the Construction Manager-GC for district review in compliance:
1. Company overview history including years in business, bankruptcies, or contract defaults.
2. Company experience with similar types of projects relative to purpose (public school), size, program, complexity, schedule, budget, and insurances.
3. Qualifications, education, and experience of the personnel to be assigned to the project.
4. Qualifications to perform construction, conceptual and detailed cost estimating, value analysis, systems analysis, scheduling, constructability review, bid package development, cultivation of contractor and supplier interest, and design support.
5. Qualifications to perform construction management services including critical path method schedules, cost control and cost forecasting, contractor coordination, change order management, contractor and supplier procurement, punch-list closeout and warranty programs, management strategies, and safety plans.
6. A statement of assurance that your organization follows all of the following federal guidelines:
a. UGG real property and/or equipment management rules (2 CFR 200.311 and 200.313)
b. EDGAR construction rules (34 CFR 76.660, 34 CFR 75.600-75.617)
c. Davis Bacon wage rules (20 U.S. Code 1232b)
