Perform operations and furnish equipment, fixtures, appliances, tools, materials, related items and labor necessary to execute, complete and deliver the Work as required by the Contract Documents. The Division and Sections into which these specifications are divided shall not be considered an accurate or complete segregation of work by trades. This also applies to work specified within each section. The estimated cost is between $500 and $750,000. Contract Duration: 232 Calendar Days. Contractor License Requirement: B Anticipated Jobsite Start Date: May 31, 2022 Anticipated Contract Completion Date: August 24, 2022 The exterior building components of Building A and Building B impacted by the planned renovation/demolition work were tested for lead. Various paints were identified as containing various levels of lead (see Limited Inspection Report for Asbestos and Lead Based Paint, Mauanaloa Elementary School). Additionally, lead sheathing was identified on the upper pitched roof of Building B. The contractor shall comply with the following when disturbing lead: 1. Contractors employees disturbing and/or removing the paint and lead sheathing must be informed that they contain lead and must have received the appropriate training in compliance with Federal and State lead standards. 2. The contractor shall be responsible for his/her employees personal protection, personal lead air monitoring and necessary records in accordance with HIOSH construction lead standards. The contractor must also conduct personal air monitoring for lead during this activity, unless the contractor has a valid negative exposure assessment for similar work.
