The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials, permits and fees necessary for Restoring the Grade and Sealing the SD Pipe at the Joint Forces Training Base, Los Alamitos CA, 90720. Work will consist of expedited correction of the sinkhole created from oversaturated soils collapsing into abandoned 36 Storm Drain (SD) pipe with the terms, conditions, and requirements of this Invitation for Bid (IFB). Prospective bidders may obtain directions to the job walk site by calling Jesse Sluder (562) 795-2399 or jesse.j.sluder.nfg@mail.mil. Prospective bidders MUST sign-in prior to the start of the job walk, attend the entire job walk and be present for roll call at the conclusion of the job walk. Bidders who do not remain for the entire job walk will be considered non-responsive and will not be allowed to bid on this project. Contractor License Type Description A General Engineering Contractor ALL individuals entering the Base must wear a mask while in CMDfacilities at all times. Unvaccinated individuals must specifically wear a N95 mask or a mask that meets NIOSH-approved N95 respirator standards. Vaccinated individuals may alternatively wear non-medical cloth masks. All questions regarding this IFB MUST be submitted to Jesse Sluder jesse.j.sluder.nfg@mail.mil and MSG David Soto at david.a.soto.mil@mail.mil no later than 4:00 P.M. on September 8th. If an addendum is necessary it will be issued prior to the Bid Opening. The bid opening will be held on September 22nd, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. Contractor will be allowed 30 Calendar Days to complete this project.
