Renovation of a medical facility in New York, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
As of May 25, 2022, construction is underway. Construction is expected to be complete in the Summer of 2024. Gilbane Building Company and the New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC) are seeking qualified firms to construct infrastructure and resiliency improvements at Metropolitan Hospital. This RFP is now focused on the Major Work for the project. The construction of the Metropolitan Hospital campus resiliency project is currently envisioned to include the following work: Build a new permanent flood mitigation structure (s) (i.e. flood wall) around the campus and provide new infrastructure upgrades For the Following Trades (Bundle #2): 02a - Abatement 21a - Fire Suppression (Sprinklers) 22a - Plumbing 23a - Hvac 26a - Electrical Questions can be submitted to Matthew Brink, Gilbane, Project Manager at mbrink@gilbaneco.com Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside: No Total MWBE Participation Goals: 35%
