Site work for a road / highway in Norwood, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
A bid bond is not required for this contract. The successful responder shall, within ten (10) days of notification of award furnish the Town a performance bond and a payment bond in an amount equal to fifty percent (50%) of the award price. The work under this contract consists of furnishing all necessary labor, materials, and equipment required to furnish and install crack sealant in the locations listed below. All work done under this contract shall be in conformance with the Highway Department's 1988 STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS FOR HIGHWAYS AND BRIDGES with latest addendum, the 1977 CONSTRUCTION STANDARDS with latest revisions, the MANUAL ON UNIFORM TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES, MILLENIUM EDITION, the 1990 STANDARD DRAWINGS FOR SIGNS AND SUPPORTS, the PLANS and these SPECIAL PROVISIONS. Geraldine Dr - Nichols St to Walpole St Sumner St - Pleasant St to Route One Nahatan St - Prospect St to Westwood Town Line The project shall be completed by October 15, 2021. Failure to meet this deadline will result in liquidated damages of five hundred dollars ($500.00) per calendar day for each day after October 15, 2021 that the project is incomplete.
