Solicitation- 21-107 Construct a 50' x 50'x 12' post frame type building Contractor to be responsible for any site work that is needed in preparation for construction of this building. Concrete Slab Existing slab to be used. Slab will be cut to accommodate all posts as shown on drawing. Add two (2) 3" conduit on outside edge of wall. Owner will determine location. (for future utility work) Framing Refer to provided engineered drawing for all framing information. Design loads including live loads and dead loads must meet specification on drawing. Documentation to be provided to owner. Roof & Siding All steel siding and roofing to be cold rolled steel with a baked on finish. Walls to be 29 gauge. Roof to be 26 gauge. All fasteners are color coded to match panels. Install roof insulation. Install 6" gutters and two (2) downspouts on each side wall. Roof, siding, and gutter colors to match existing maintenance shop on site. . Doors Walk through door to be a 3/0 white metal outswing LH door. Provide door handle set with deadbolt. Hydraulic Aircraft door to be provided by a separate contractor. Door currently out for quote. Contractor to provide matching siding panels and install on exterior of door once door has been installed. Window Window shown on drawing to be eliminated. Miscellaneous All construction debris to be removed per Colleton County and SC DHEC regulations. Contractor to proceed within 40 business days of receiving Notice of Award and complete project within 25 business days of the start date. Contractor to be licensed and bonded. Contractor to provide Certificate of Liability and Workman's Comp information upon request. The Contractor agrees to comply with "The South Carolina Illegal Immigration Reform Act, 2008". The Forestry Commission reserves the right to: (1) reject any and all quotations and to cancel the solicitation; (2) waive any and all technicalities; (3) reject any quotation in which the delivery time indicated is of substantial length to cause disruption and/or delay in operation for which the item(s) is/are intended; (4) reject ambiguous quotations which are uncertain as to terms, delivery, quantity, or compliance with specifications.
