Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to an educational facility in Indianapolis, Indiana. Completed plans call for the addition of a educational facility; for the demolition of a educational facility; for the renovation of a educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.

All work for the complete construction of the Project will be under multiple prime contracts with the Construction Manager as Contractor, "Shiel Sexton - Harmon JV" based on bids received from pre-qualified tier 1 bidders. Award of contracts will be in accordance with Indiana Public Bidding Laws. Work includes additions and renovations to the existing Greenbriar Elementary School consisting of, but not limited to, interior finishes, plumbing fixtures, mechanical equipment, lighting. Exterior site improvements include, but not limited to concrete, asphalt, and playground equipment replacement. A Bid Security in the amount of 5% of the total bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Should a successful bidder withdraw his Bid or fail to execute a satisfactory Contract by providing Payment and Performance Bonds, Certificate(s) of Insurance, subcontractor and Materials listing and any other required documents within the required time periods after notice of acceptance of this Bid, the CMc may declare the Bid as non-responsive and declare the Bid Security forfeited as liquated damages, not a penalty. A Performance Bond and Payment Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Amount will be required of the successful bidder prior to execution of Contracts. Bidders will provide a cost for these bonds on the bid form. The members of the School Board and leadership of the Metropolitan School District of Washington Township, CSO Architects, and the Shiel Sexton -Harmon JV are all committed to ensuring the utilization of diverse suppliers on this Construction Project. The School Board passed a resolution highlighting and reinforcing the District's commitment to supplier diversity. This resolution is a part of the project documentation and emphasizes the importance of diverse inclusion in the bidding process. The Owner and the Construction Manager as Constructor reserve their rights to reject any or all bids and the right to waive any irregularities in bidding. All Bids may be held for a period not to exceed 60 days before awarding contracts. The Project consists of new additions, replacement of interior finishes, kitchen equipment, plumbing fixtures, replacement of mechanical equipment, reconfiguration of group restrooms, interior and exterior lighting replacements, upgraded technology equipment and infrastructure. Athletic flooring in the gymnasium will be replaced. New additions include an approximately 5800 SF classroom addition to the SE corner of the building, and 2500 SF of new administration offices and secured vestibule at the main entrance of the school. Exterior renovations include a revamped parking lot circulation plan that will separate student pick-up/drop off and bus traffic. Playgrounds will be updated to include ADA features *As of January 06, 2022, all subcontractors have been awarded and lined up. Project has been under construction since around 6 weeks ago.
