Bids shall be clearly marked East River Regional Sanitation District Lift Station Improvements. The work will include the following: The Work will include all necessary labor, supervision, equipment, tools, and materials to install two new submersible centrifugal lead/lag pumps within an existing concrete wet well, a bypass drain system, and level sensors in the wet well. Work includes, but is not limited to, associated process piping and valves, tie-in to existing piping, a new odor control unit and appurtenances, new coarse screen brushes, and all associated electrical conduit, wiring and controls. Sanitary sewer bypass pumping is required during work. Bidders are hereby advised the Owner reserves the right to not award a Contract until sixty (60) days from the date of the opening of Bids, and Bidders expressly agree to keep their Bids open for the sixty (60) day time period. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive any informality, technicality or irregularity in any Bid, to disregard all non-conforming, non-responsive, conditional or alternate Bids, to negotiate contract terms with the Successful Bidder, to require statements or evidence of Bidders qualifications, including financial statements, and to accept the proposal that is, in the opinion of the Owner, in its best interest. Owner also reserves the right to extend the Bidding period by Addendum if it appears in its interest to do so.
